1938

The Roots of an Industry Legacy

During the Great Depression, Thomas Terry Sr. founded Monroe Tree Surgeons in Rochester, New York, building a reputation for reliable tree work and utility line clearance. His commitment to quality and service laid the groundwork for generations of expertise in vegetation management.
1971

Expanding Utility Expertise

Thomas “Duke” Terry II entered the utility tree care industry, helping grow operations that supported electric utilities across the region. His leadership expanded large-scale vegetation management capabilities and deepened industry experience.
1995

Terry Tree Service is Established

Thomas “Tommy” Terry III and Timothy Pope formed Terry Tree Service, building on decades of field knowledge and experience in utility vegetation management. The company quickly established itself as a trusted partner to electric utilities.

Ironwood Heavy Highway is Founded
